Hardware perk

FREE Clover terminal with $99 one-time shipping & handling

For qualifying new merchant accounts, a Clover terminal can be part of the setup. The account fit and agreement come first. The device is the secondary perk.

$99 one-time shipping & handling. One Clover terminal per new merchant account (new MID). Minimum processing: $10K/mo for Clover Mini or Flex, $30K/mo for Clover Station Solo or Duo. Subject to approval. If the account closes, hardware must be returned at the merchant’s expense or the merchant pays retail value.

We’ll discuss the applicable processing, software and other account fees before you decide. The device offer does not mean the merchant account or software is free.

Processor dropped you?

Worried your account could get shut down?

CBD and smoke shops need processing that fits what they actually sell. If your account has been closed, or you’re concerned about its future, start with a case-by-case conversation. A replacement account is subject to review and approval.

The real problem

The problem isn’t just the terminal

No POS system is perfect. A checkout issue is frustrating. Being stuck in an agreement that doesn’t fit your shop makes it harder.

For CBD and hemp businesses, the conversation needs to start before the hardware. What do you sell? Where do you sell it? What are the funding rules? What happens if you need to cancel?

A new terminal alone doesn’t answer those questions.

How it works

Start with your shop. Then choose the setup.

I’m Keith Christy with NCS Pays. I help shop owners connect the pieces: POS, merchant processing and the integrations their business needs.

First, we discuss your full product catalog, your location and whether you sell in-store, online or both. CBD and hemp accounts are reviewed case by case. Product eligibility and processing options depend on that review.

Clear terms before you sign. We go through the proposed terms with you: funding schedules, possible holds and reserves, fees, contract length, renewal and cancellation, and any early-termination obligations.

The goal is an informed choice, not another hardware pitch.

Your choice

Traditional processing or a cash discount program

Ask about a cash discount program. We’ll explain the proposed program and its terms before you decide.

Application

Bring your last 3 months of processing statements to your call with Keith.

These statements are an application requirement. They help document your processing history. Additional information may be required for case-by-case review. Bringing statements does not guarantee approval.

FAQ

A few questions shop owners ask

Can you work with my CBD or hemp shop?

Let’s start with your full catalog, location and sales channels. Each account is reviewed case by case. An application is not a promise of approval.

Will there be reserves or holds?

That depends on the account and its terms. We’ll discuss the proposed funding and reserve provisions. No one here is promising that funds can never be held.

Will I be locked into a long contract?

We’ll go through the proposed term, renewal, cancellation and any early-termination obligations before you sign. Don’t assume a device offer means no contract.

What if I sell online too?

Bring your platform and integration requirements. An in-store terminal is not, by itself, an online payment solution. We’ll check compatibility and account eligibility for each channel.

Who do I call when something goes wrong?

Call Keith. You’ll have one contact to coordinate with the relevant provider. That isn’t a promise that every issue can be fixed immediately. It means you know who to call.

Before you choose your next POS, talk through the whole setup.

Tell me what you sell, what you’re using and what isn’t working. We’ll start there.
